A group of policemen protested in Peshawar on Wednesday after the attack. A policeman told AFP news agency on condition of anonymity, "We are in the middle of a difficult time." Every day we lose some of our colleagues. I can be in their place tomorrow. How many days we have to suffer like this?

Expressing anger, they said, we are on the frontline in this war against terrorists. We are guarding our schools, offices and all places. But now we feel helpless. Their question, if the defenders of the country have no protection, then who is safe in this country? We are being thrown in front of those animals with our hands and feet tied. The protesting policemen say that when we step out of the house we do not know where we will be targeted. So many people died today, I could be there too.

And in just a few months, general elections will be held in Pakistan. At this time, the government is under pressure due to such a big attack. Analysts say that militancy is rising due to the weakness of leadership in Pakistan.

However, the government's claim is that if there is no insider involved in the Peshawar incident, the assailant cannot enter the mosque in an area under strict police surveillance. Therefore, several policemen have been arrested and questioned.
