Japan is devastated by snow storms for the second day in a row

For the second day in a row, snowstorms continue in northern Japan. Several feet of snow piled up in several places due to inclement weather. As a result, most of the main roads are closed.

Citing the country's Meteorological Department, the news agency AP said that due to heavy snowfall and dense fog, road accidents occurred in several places including Hokkaido, Mawatsu. Several areas including Kamizawa, Omno Town also received rain on Thursday (January 26). As a result, the situation took a dire shape.

The life of these regions has been disrupted due to adverse weather conditions. Authorities say rescue work is not possible due to the closure of major highways. In the meantime, ice clearing work is going on in important areas.
